Coach Sam is a camp dedicated to help close the fatherless gap that exists within black families. According to the US Census Bureau, as of November 2019, 46% of black males (whites 17% and Hispanic 24%) under 18 years of age are being raised by a single mother. Although we encourage all cultural backgrounds to apply, the focus will be predominantly towards black single family households with teenage boys between 14-18 years of age. The ratio will be 90% black and 10% others. Our Christ-Centered fathers are trained and experienced at mentoring this demographic during an extremely impressionable phase in their lives.
